The Kansas PRIDE Program

Building Better Communities

The Kansas PRIDE Program is a partnership of K-State Research and Extension, the Kansas Department of Commerce, and Kansas PRIDE, Inc.

PRIDE is dedicated to serving communities across the state to encourage and assist local government and volunteers in making their community a better place to live and work.

The Park City PRIDE Committee was organized in 1992, incorporated in  1993, and is certified by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(3)c .  Chairpersons Scott Lewis, Dee Stuart, Charlie

Jardine, and Cecile Cox have served on the State Pride Board of Directors.  Park City’s committee has  received numerous

Community of Excellence designations, with several Star Awards, Pride’s highest honor for specific projects.

Park City PRIDE meets at 9:00 am on the second Saturday of every month at the Park City Pride Community Building, at 6512 E. Parkview in Park City.  There are directional signs posted on 61st St and Hydraulic, as well as at the entrance on E. Parkview

PRIDE’s members wear no uniforms, take no oaths, pay no dues.

PRIDE accepts all who come to our meetings and indicate a

willingness to enhance the community through service projects.  Everyone is welcome.
